The job
• Assist in preparation of financial reports using SLFRS and preparation of required management reports
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for finance
• Assist in implementation and review of controls and policies of the company
• Monitor and ensure effective utilization of internal control system. Report and take initiate corrective mechanisms on any weakness in the system.
Candidate’s Profile
• Previous experience in the financial services industry is a must. Experience in the Micro credit industry will be an added advantage.
• A degree in Accountancy or part qualification from a professional accounting body, with a strong knowledge in basic accounting
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar capacity preferably with experience in SLFRS • Analytical skills and high level of accuracy with the ability to work with fixed deadlines
• A matured self-starter, self-motivated, meticulous and committed individual
Work location: Nugegoda
