Accounts Executive
Job Profile
– Be responsible for the preparation and posting of journal entries to GL and reconciling assigned GL account/s on regular basis.
– Should prepare and process assigned payments with necessary approvals.
– Ensure monthly financial and management reports are prepared on time.
– Responsible for preparation of tax returns for timely tax payments and co—ordination with tax authorities (Inland Revenue, TRCSL etc) and tax consultants.
– Conduct fixed assets counts, taking of book balances and should physically conduct checks to ensure accurate availability and accounting of assets.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Management as well as intermediate level qualification from a recognized accounting institute such as CA, CMA, CIMA, and ACCA.
– Possess a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in an audit company.
– Should have a sound knowledge in statutory payments and IFRS.
– Ability to closely liaise with cross functional teams.
– Fluency in English is essential.
– Should be well versed in Microsoft Office packages (MS Word. Excel. Power point etc…)
– Should be a team player with a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
The above position will carry an attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
