PEAK opened its Sri Lankan development centre in January 2013 to develop IT solutions for the growing global businesses.
About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer.NET with a CAN DO ATTITUDE and excellent problem solving and analytical skills to work with the project development team in Melbourne to undertake development tasks to enhance the application and provide necessary support.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Develop assigned modules and fix application defects in a timely manner
• Develop enhancements/change requests to applications as specified
• Deliver the tasks on time as per the project plan
• Complete unit testing on developed modules
• Provide accurate progress updates at department meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
• 1- 2 years working experience in the .Net stream is mandatory
• A bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Experience working with Cif, .Net 2.0 (or above), and ASP.NET
• Experience working with SQL Server 2005 or above database, including writing complex stored procedures
• Experience working with WPF, XML web services or WCF is desirable
• Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting framework is an added advantage
• Flexible to travel overseas as and when required

• Ability to work with a fast-paced team and deal with a variety of business stakeholders
• Strong time management and personal productivity skills
• Ability to interact with business and other technical resources effectively
• Demonstrated commitment to process and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
