We are on the lookout for a Preschool Teacher for our client company located in Biyagama
Requirement:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
Build strong relationships with children, fostering a sense of trust and security.
Observe and assess each child’s progress, providing individualized attention when needed.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about children’s development and progress.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support a positive and supportive learning environment.
Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness, following all health and safety guidelines.
Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution strategies among children
Qualifications:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education (or relevant coursework).
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (1-3 years preferred).
Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and staff.
Passion for working with young children and fostering a positive learning environment
