The Following vacancy exists for dynamic, Hardworking & ambitious individual.

Plant Engineer

Responsibilities and Tasks:-

• Develop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for all facilities and equipment of the factory.
• Assisting in necessary troubleshooting of maintenance problems and coordinating required solutions by working hands-on when needed.
• Ready to lead and develop a team of skilled supervisors and apprentices setting high expectations.
• Should establish work schedules, supervise and assign the work of maintenance employees for routine, deferred and emergency maintenance and continually inspect the property for improvements.

The successful candidate should:-

• Candidates should have NDT/HND or similar qualifications in mechanical/electronic/electrical/ Air-conditioning etc.
• 5+ years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment preferably in a hosiery manufacturing plant. • Be under 40 years of age
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors and boiler maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing preventative maintenance programs
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for plant maintenance.
• Ability to train and encourage development of technical and other skills of the maintenance staff.

Individuals living within 20 km radius from Minuwangoda will have an added advantage.
