Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
– Support/Manage automation project as a product owner and drive the technical development of the project from concept to product.
– Design and develop automation systems, including robotic systems, control systems, and custom hardware, to optimize semiconductor device integration processes.
– Integrate equipment and components into software design, develop and maintain control software for automation systems, including PLCs, HMis, and robotic controllers.
– Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and manufacturing engineers to identify areas for
product improvement, implement automation solutions, and continuously improve product portfolio.
– Provide technical support for automation systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
– Responsible for creating and updating detailed documentation for automation systems,
encompassing design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations,
address safety concerns, and drive process improvements, ultimately supporting the achievement of production goals.
Ideal Candidate must have:
– Bachelors Degree in Mechatronic Engineering / Systems Engineering or a related field.
– Minimum of I-2 years proven experience in similar capacity.
– Strong problem solving skills, project management skills including the ability to prioritize
the tasks.
– Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams.
– Basic understanding in Robotics, Industrial protocol communication, Mechanical
systems and Electrical systems.
– Thorough knowledge in Programming basics and control systems.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to provide high quality service.
