System Support Engineer – Level 1 (Colombo)

We are British Information Technology Solutions provider looking for exceptional staff to join our rapidly growing technical team based t our global service delivery center in Colombo.
You will be working as part of our desktop support team providing remote technical support for our European and American Customer base.
The Role:
This position requires enthusiasm, dedication and excellent customer service and negotiation skills.

Qualification:
– Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English are a Must
– Extensive knowledge and experience in Windows VP. Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 Platforms and knowledge in MAC OSX environment.
– Advanced skills in home networking and PC/MAC hard ware troubleshooting.
– Advanced skills in mobile device support (Windows, Blackberry, Android, and Apple etc).
– Willingness to learn new technologies.
– Excellent telephone etiquette.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Willingness and able to work in a 24×7 rotating roster.
– Ability to understand British/American accents.
Experience:
– B.Sc/Diploma in Information Technology
– Minimum 1 year experience in a similar technical support role
– MCITP Enterprise Desktop Administrator / Desktop Support Technician certifications
