Ceylon Linux is a company based in Sri Lanka, specializing in open source IT solutions and providing commercial Linux support and software development services. We deliver open source solutions for business requirements using our vast knowledge & experience in Linux operating system, open source software, overall systems development and integration.
We are on the lookout for self motivated, talented, ambitious, and qualified individuals to be part of our team as a Software Developers.
The position will be based in Galle, Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities:
• Excellent working knowledge in PHP, MySQL and other open source technologies.
• Sound knowledge in Java script / Ajax and XML Technologies
• Comfortable in Linux command line.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of services as per the project plan.
• Experience in developing, testing and maintaining web databases.
• Ability to create good user interfaces and Creating and consuming web services.
• Innovates and brainstorm new features.
• Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field or equivalent education/ experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience. Additional experience will be an added advantage.
• Must be innovative, self-driven and pro-active in keeping up with new technologies and programming languages.
• Must be able to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Must have good self discipline and work independently with less guidance.
• Project planning and team handling skills
• Age below 25 years
