Reservations Gateway (Pvt) Ltd is the fully owned development and support centre of Reservations Gateway Inc; a US based Travel Technology Company.
Rezgateway develops and operates reservation and back office systems for the global travel industry.
Job Summary:
We are looking for young, energetic individuals who are able to coordinate and deliver project tasks by acting as a dedicated leader to the team, with respect to timeline, quality and value.
Principle Roles and Responsibilities:
– Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
– Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
– Taking the ownership of the project. Plan, track work and work towards the successful delivery of the project / sprint.
– Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity.
– Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
– Continually seek opportunities to assess the performance and productivity of team members and guide them.
– Coordinate day to day activities of a project, including organizing scrum meetings and preparing other relevant documentation.
– Organizing team meeting and providing proper leadership and guidance
– Assisting with Internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Required Skills/Experience:
– Holder of Bachelors Degree in IT
– First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, psm I) preferred
– Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
– Standard project management skills and people management skills will be an added advantage
– Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual Improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
– The candidate should posses excellent communication and documentation skills
– Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
– Previous experience in the travel domain will be an advantage.
