Its subsidiary, SLIIT Computing (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for energetic and enterprising individuals with leadership
skills to join our team as a Library Assistant
Responsibilities:
– Enter and update students’ records on computers.
– Managing the library resources and database.
– Sort books, publications, and other items according to established procedure and return them to shelves, files, or other designated storage areas.
– Locate library materials for students.
Requirements:
– Studying for Library Sciences and/or studying for a professional qualification
– Strong communication skills both oral and written in English and Sinhalese with knowledge in Tamil being an added advantage.
– Applicants under 30 years of age with past experience preferred
– Applicant should be reliable, organized and flexible and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary: An attractive remuneration will be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
