Internal Auditor – Colombo Based
The main responsibilities of the role include:
– Preparation of timely audit results
– Following up and ensuring that adequate audit responses have been received from Branches and Head office
– Preparation and implementation of action plans regarding critical audit results
– Reviewing various data to determine compliance with set standards, policies and procedures
– Assist in conducting audit exit conferences, and final audit reports
– Undertake special examinations of specific areas of operations/accounts as requested
– Coordinating with VFL International Audit and External Audit
– 60% traveling to outstation branches for audit purposes.
Requisites for the post:
– Degree in Accountancy/Commerce together with part qualifications in ICA/CIMA/SCMA
– A good working knowledge in computer-based applications such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point
– Two years‘ Audit experience.
