Industrial Engineer
Job Purpose:
• To ensure that there is no deviation from the established systems and processes with respect to environment management, Waste water treatment, Raw water treatment and health & safety
• To ensure safe & healthy, accidents free work environment to all employees and reduce the number of industrial injuries & illnesses to Zero.
• To ensure that WWTP, WWRP & RWTP are operating efficiently and adhering to required standards
• To manage and review policies & procedures established for EMS, EHS.
• Comply with all standards and make sure to maintain or improve the status.
• To interact with external bodies such as CEA, BOI, Municipal Council, and other relevant authorities. Also testing organizations such as SGS,ITI,NERD etc.as and when required
• To ensure that Raw water meets the required standard which is the one most important resource for the plant.
• Ensure all the dyes and chemicals used in the dye house are feasible for WWTP by analyzing MSDS.
• To ensure effective sustainability practices are carried out and improve SAC index (Higg index), prepare sustainability reports, Green reports. Etc.
• Conduct process improvement projects in Dye House when requested by the management.
The Person:
The ideal candidate should have:
• Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum two year of experience in relevant field.
• Conversant with Microsoft office
• Analytical & problem solving ability.
• And also possess high level of negotiation skills, effective communication, time management and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a pressurized environment.
