requires tireless, ambitious, conscientious and commercially astute professionals to spearhead this challenge.

Head Of IT

Reporting to the General Manager as a member of the Corporate Management Team, your Key Accountabilities are:

– Conceptualize, define, develop and implement an IT vision, strategies and an action plan to achieve Corporate Objectives of the Bank.
– Manage and be responsible for overall functions of the IT systems, personnel, services and infrastructures.
– Formulate IT plans and related budgets and monitor its implementation.
– Initiate dialogue with ICT users and vendors to maintain system efficiency and service standards of ICT.
– Evaluate new hardware and software technology and assess its applicability to the requirements of the Bank.
– Ensure that procedures and standards for IT activities, recovery systems and Business Continuity Plan are properly documented, implemented and monitored.
– Report the performance and significant trends to the Corporate Management and the Board of Directors for consideration and necessary action.
– Ensure IT adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements (The Central Bank’s rules and principles, Money Laundering regulations and all facets of treating customers fairly are embedded and supported in all deliverables).

Key Requirements and Experience:

– A first degree with 1st class /2nd Upper from a recognized university and a post graduate degree in the field of ICT from a recognized university.
– 10 years experience after obtaining the above qualifications with more than 3 years at a Senior Managerial level in a recognized institution.
– Experience in handling large ICT projects.
– Age below 55 years as at the closing date of applications.

Those who have Chartered Membership in a professional institution would be given preference.

On contract basis, initially for a period of three years, renewable subsequently, depending on the performance and the need.
