An Australian Hotel Management Group is venturing into Sri Lanka for the launch of a Star Class Hotel GSH Colombo managed by Acostay Hotel Group of Australia, in 2013 located in the business district of Colombo.
GSH Colombo is on the lookout for dynamic individuals to now join their Front Office Team.
Front Office Executive
Responsibilities:
– Ensuring the efficient and professional operation of the Front Office.
– Supervising that all guest arrivals and departures adhere to company policy and procedures.
– Training, managing and supervising Front Office staff.
– Liaising with other Department heads to ensure the smooth running of the Hotel.
– Assisting the Hotel manager in administrative aid operational matters.
Qualification and Experience:
– Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a 5 star hotel.
– Profession! qualifications from a hotel school specializing in the Front Office operations will be a district advantage.
– Experience with hotel computer software and administration software
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Fluency in English.
Reservations Executive
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for the entire reservation system and the management of room inventory.
– Maximizing occupancy and revenue in alignment with the financial forecasts.
Qualification and Experience:
– Fluent in English. computer literate and able to handle, Internet bookings, corporate clients. foreign and local
travel agents, walk-ins etc.
– Able to maintain and manage rate categories and channels of distribution.
– Professional qualifications from a reputed hotel school specializing in the front office/reservation operations will be a district advantage.
– Minimum of 5 years experience in the reservations field in a star class hotel.
Service Agent (4 Positions)
Responsibilities:
– Assistance with Check-in and Check-out.
– Dedication to exceptional customer service and ensuring all guests are familiar with our facilities.
Qualification and Experience:
– Fluent In English and computer literate.
– Professional qualifications from a reputed hotel school specializing in the front office/reservation operations will be a distinct advantage.
– Minimum of 3 years experience in a star class hotel.
Porter (3 Positions)
Minimum of 2 years experience in a star class hotel.out.
