Data Analytics Specialist
The Data Analytics specialist will be at the forefront of strategic decision making for the Company, taking responsibility for identifying new opportunities, tracking the outcomes of new initiatives and recommending ways to accelerate growth.
Key Accountabilities:
• Contributing analysis and strategic thinking to drive the various initiatives
• Conducting historical data analysis, including data retrieval and manipulation, followed by presentation of key insights back to business stakeholders
• Developing performance dashboards for internal stakeholders, to enable them to self-serve their data and insight
• Processing and analysing large volumes of data
• Assist to identify opportunities for optimising customer lifetime value
Experience:
• First and foremost, a passion for analytics, and all things digital! We want motivated, proactive, and dynamic people in our team.
• An ability to extract and manipulate information from internal databases using SQL, coupled with advanced Excel skills. Experience using digital analytics tools
• Proven ability to present data and communicate insights in a way that non-data literate audiences can understand
• Background to statistics and use of commercial BI tools or knowledge to Hadoop would be beneficial
