Job Role
– Prepare and present consolidated financial statements for sound decision-making. complying with accounting standards of Sri Lanka.
– Timely attend for quarterly interim financial statements of CSE.
– Assist the AGM — Finance to prepare audit committee reports.
– Work closely with auditors to finalize consolidated/Company financial statements and annual report submissions.
– Collaborate with risk and compliance division to improve procedures and internal controls.
– Support the preparation of the annual strategic plan for the group of Companies
– Review group banking exposure and group working capital requirements for smart financial decision making.
– Ensure adequate insurance coverage to safeguard business interests.
– Responsible for the accuracy of all reporting data, assuring the promptness in submitting
them.
The person
– Bachelors degree in Finance/Accountancy from a recognized university or full/part
qualification in ICASL/CIMA or equivalent.
– Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in audit/mercantile sector.
– Experience in SAP/ERP will be an added advantage.
