This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, self-starter to work with the global leadership team in delivering quality electronic discovery services from the newest emerging market to law firms and legal departments of U.S. and Europe based Fortune 500 companies.
Associates will be responsible for the following: Learn and perform evidence discovery analysis in connection with US and UK litigation matters under the direction of US and UK litigation experts.
Prepare memoranda and engage in meetings and conference calls with US and UK law firm partners and corporate counsel advising them on your analysis of evidence relating to their client matters.
Learn and develop expertise on various industry specific legal matters ranging from oil & gas, financial, medical and other industries.
Learn and develop expertise on specialized software tools designed to enhance analysis and presentation of evidence.
Candidate Profile:
Candidates should have a western flair, and should demonstrate the following: High degree of commercial acumen and flexibility when approaching challenges and strong emphasis on teamwork.
– Self-starter with demonstrated desire to grow the business line in quality, scope and size, rather than purely managing existing programs.
– Ability to learn and apply leanings quickly and consistently.
– A desire to interact with US and UK clients on US and UK related legal matters.
Competencies:
– Strong understanding and articulation of British common law concepts.
– Proficient with MS Word, Excel and comfort utilizing IT systems and software programs relating to project management, time, and billing.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills with serious attention to detail.
– Outgoing, interactive, collaborative personality.
Qualification: LL.B.
Experience: Recent graduates to three years legal practice
