Senior Systems Engineer (Sri Lanka)

You are an experienced Systems Engineer who is passionate enough to take a further step to expand
your boundaries. You are capable of handling an effective working relationship with our overseas
collaborator by demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Your Profile:
– 5+ years’ experience with the setup, troubleshooting & administration of Linux & Windows systems
– 2+ years’ experience administering VMWare clusters & ESXi
– Proficiency in HP blades & iLO
– Expertise in AWS
– Experience working on Puppet and/or Ansible
– Scripting knowledge using Python would be a plus
– Prior experience using Foreman would be a plus
– Fluent in spoken & written English to maintain excellent communication with US client
Responsibilities:
– Install, configure & maintain HP blade servers in our client’s data centres
– Configure & manage VMWare & AWS environments
– Perform OS related tasks on Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Centos etc.) & Windows
– Perform system management: disk, file system, & volume management
– Configure, monitor and manage systems & react to alerts
– Provide support for applications & services running on Linux/Windows
