Manager- IT Systems
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Analyze bank’s current application infrastructure and align it with bank’s strategic plan
* Recommending new initiatives to obtain competitive advantage over other banks
* Work closely with business line managers to ensure optimum allocation and utilization of technology resources
* Co-ordinate all technology partners in providing effective solutions to operational issues
* Effective vendor management
* Work closely with other business line heads to create strategic plans for the business future growth
* Establish the department’s operative goals and objectives
* Manage and recruit IT staff
* Ensure audit compliance and adoption of corporate Information Security Policy
* Ensure all users are properly trained on using bank’s application systems and maximizing the usage of available resources
* Applying the fixes and upgrading existing software systems by proper testing and user acceptance
* Ensure documentation is in order to safeguard the continuity of business
Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in IT
* Post graduate qualification in IT or MBA and qualification in project Management/ Banking will be an added advantage
Experience Required:
* Significant experience in managing Core Banking System implementations from inception to delivery, including Training, Parameter setup, Customizations, Preparation of Test Cases, User Acceptance Testing, Issue tracking & escalating, coordinating with Vendors/ External Auditors etc.
* Experience in the evaluation of Banking Systems, preparation of RFPs, evaluation of vendor proposals (Technical, Financial/ TCO), Vendor Negotiations etc.
* Thorough knowledge in Banking business including Retail/ Corporate/ branch operations, procedures, controls, functionalities & processes
* Knowledge in Digital Banking, ATM, Card Operations, MIS etc.
* Proven skill in Business Analysis, Solution Designing and Project Management
Specific Training and Qualification Desire:
* Technical Skills- Knowledge in Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/ SQL, Unix/ Linux
