Our client subsidiary of a well-established and more than 50 year old company is a leading player in the supply of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and solar power solutions. It represents many reputed global brands. Also, the company has own brand of UPS systems, which is steadily growing in the Sri Lankan market.
Manager Engineering
Job Profile:
• Overall management of the Engineering Division comprising a team of 40 engineering and technical staff
• Develop service strategy & roadmap for all business lines
• Develop & implement service standards & ensure the teams’ adherence
• Introduce/improve the processes & controls required for an uninterrupted operation
• Develop the customer base to enhance repeat purchase
• Business development through new related product/service lines
• Manage the divisional budget while maximizing the efficient & effective use of divisional resources
• Lead & manage the team while training, developing & motivating them
Candidate Profile:
• A degree in electrical/electronic engineering from a recognised university
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in mission critical power/ renewable energy
• Experience in managing larger teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferably age below 35 years
Senior Engineer – Operations
Job Profile:
• Overall management of installation/ preventive maintenance/corrective maintenance
• Ensure on time service delivery while adhering to service standards
• Develop & implement contingency plans to have an uninterrupted operation
• Maximize the efficient & effective use of divisional resources
• Overall administration of leave/HR issues/cash requirements of the team
• Lead & manage the team while training, developing & motivating them
Candidate Profile:
• A degree in electrical/electronic engineering from a recognised university
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in mission critical power
• Ability to meet the deadlines in a demanding work environment
• Ability to make quick operational decisions
• Experience in managing larger teams
• An outgoing personality with good communication skills
• Preferably age below 35 years
