Our client is a well established internationally recognized software development company located in Colombo looking for suitable candidates for following positions:
Enterprise Cloud Architect
Skills Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
• Degree in IT / Engineering or other relevant field from a reputed University
• Other relevant professional qualifications would be an added advantage
Experience
• Total experience 8 – 10 years including hands on experience in below areas
• Data Center architecture technologies, design & implementation
• Cloud Computing
• Application development platform (Net, Java, LAMP, etc)
• Design and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (WS, PaaS, SaaS) services and solutions.
• Creating and deploying complex cloud infrastructure solutions in small and large environments.
• Amazon Web Services.Google Web Services Azure, Terrernark,Rackspace etc (one of those)
• Hypervisors (e.g., VMware. Citrix Xen Server, KVM).
• Data Center architecture & design experience for large customer environment
• Customer service experience with integration of infrastructure virtualization solutions with other platform technologies (i.e., Storage, Server, Network, Active Directory. Database, and other operating systems).
• Familiarity with networking & security solutions like routing, switching, Firewalls etc.
• .Net, Java, LAMP.
• DevOps, Puppet, Chef, and other Cloud technologies.
• Data models (UML), and web services (RESTful interfaces) for IP based systems.
• Networking & Security technologies like routing, switching, Firewalls, IDS/IPS etc.
• Knowledge of prominent cloud standards and specification efforts (e.g., Openstack).
• Oracle/Glassfish, JBoss, Websphere, WebLogic • Very good understanding of application security and performance
• Hands on experience in JEE — EJB. Servlets, JSP, JPA, JMS and SOAP / REST API / MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL /Apache / LINUX, WINDOWS
