AutoCAD Draftsman (Electrical)

We are seeking dynamic results oriented professionals in the position mentioned above to work in our Sri Lanka office. This position reports to the Local Manager in Sri Lanka.
The position of AutoCAD Draughtsman is critical in producing electrical services drawings and coordinating with the Design team based in Australia. Under the guidance of Star, there will be opportunities for Selected candidate(s) to undergo further training to upskill and develop their skills and capability by utilising Revit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
– Coordinating and liaising with the Revit Modeler in Sri Lanka and BIM manager and engineering Staff based in Sydney to provide drawings and document packages.
– Draft electrical services drawings including but not limited to single line diagrams, lighting, power and data, AV, HV etc. as required.
– Provide drawings in compliance with company standards.
– Work effectively as part of a team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Proficient in AutoCAD Application.
– Knowledge in Autedesk Revit Application will be an added advantage.
– Atleast 3+ years’ experience in Electrical services industry with using AutoCAD Application on a daily basis.
– Strong communication skills.
– Fluency in English.
