SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of SOS-Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the children who have lost their parents as well as the children who are at risk of losing the care of their biological family. The organization has well established Projects in Piliyandala, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Batticaloa, Gandara, Peraliya, Bandarawela and Jaffna and invites applications from highly committed individuals who meet the requisite qualifications for the following position.
Senior Co-worker (Children’s Village – Galle)
Senior Co-worker will be required to assist the Village Director in all Children’s Village activities and programmes.
Preference will be given to those who have experience in Social Work, Education, Sports Activities, Youth Services and Counseling.
Applicants must have a good knowledge of English and Sinhala/Tamil and be capable of working with children and youths. Sound understanding in computer operations, accounts and administration would be an added advantage.
This position is residential and applicants under 30 years of age are encouraged to apply.
