Legal Officer
Job Profile
– Provide useful inputs in formulation of deals and contracts.
– Ensure that all the licenses, agreements and permits of the company are valid and renewing legal contracts before it lapses.
– Oversee all the legal implications of new projects.
– Be organized and possess excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
– Preparation of commercial contracts, agreements, MoU, LoU, letters of intent, letters of termination and other ancillary documents.
– Prepare and issue letters of Demand.
– Ensure documentation of all legal documents of the company in order to maintain confidentiality
– Draft and submit applications for registration trademarks and patents.
– Ability to interact and work with all levels of staff.
Qualifications / Skills:
– An Attorney — at — Law/ LLB Degree with a Notary License.
– Excellent analytical and observation skills.
– Excellent negotiation skills.
– Computer literacy
Experience:
– At least 2 years experience in the relevant field.
– Experience in drafting commercial contracts.
