Accountant
The position will report directly to the CEO and the candidate must have an impeccable track record for honesty and integrity.
What we require:
• preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
• liaising with government authorities, internal and external auditors and dealing with any financial irregularities as they arise
• producing reports and recommendations following internal audits
• arranging financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
• advising on tax and treasury issues
• negotiating terms with suppliers
What you need to have:
• Bachelor degree in Accountancy/Finance related stream or CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 3 years experiences in a similar capacity
• Corporate accounting and financial analysis experience with strong understanding of IFRS
• Experience in audit/commercial back ground would be an added advantage
• Strong organisational and time management skills in order to meet strict reporting deadlines and deal with conflicting time demands
• Ability to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays as determined by the business needs
• Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in a team environment
