Senior Engineer – QA (Sri Lanka)

Experience:
– Minimum 2 years of QA/Testing (test case writing and execution experience.
– Experience working in medium to large scale teams
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in information Technology, Information systems or Computer Science.
Skill and knowledge:
– Analyzing complex business domains from various clients
– Test designing for complex business requirements
– Preparing test data for test cases
– Exposure to multiple iterations of the software development lifecycle
– Executing test cases for different types of testing
– Preparing test environments to execute test cases
– Analyzing the test cases prepared by team members
– Possesses a very thorough understanding of the test management system
– Preparing test summary reports
– Preparing suggestion documents to improve the quality of the application
– Working collaboratively in very high standard environments
Additional Requirements:
– Industry-level certifications (e.g CSTE, ISTQB)
– Technical knowledge of different non-functional testing (e.g performance, security and mobility testing)
– First-hand experience in different software development models such as agile (Scrum)
– First-hand experience with testing tools
– Familiarity with a business domain (e.g Insurance, Banking, Telecom)

– Ability to work independently
– Ability to work under pressure
– Leadership skills
– Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
