Radio Personalities — TNL Radio/Lite FM
TNL Radio and Lite FM are looking for Radio Personalities, responsible for shaping the on air sound of On Lanka’s leading top 40 and adult contemporary music stations.
You will be accountable for hosting an islandwide radio show, driving content that is as entertaining as it is informative, keeping the program moving, and creating a sense of urgency in the on-air dynamic. Responsibilities include creatively developing topics, executing keen interviewing techniques, and working with marketing, research and promotion teams to cultivate and develop the show. The right candidate is knowledgeable, articulate, able to present commentary in easily digestible fashion, and open to feedback on broadcast technique and performance. A perfect command of English is vital, as is and active interest in the field of music and the ability to work flexible hours.
News Reporter/ Presenter – English
NewsRadio is the News arm of TNL Radio Network and operates in both English and Sinhala. With over 150 correspondents island-wide and over 30 international correspondents, our headline stories not only cross the airwaves, but break ground online as well. We have even tied up with mobile service providers to offer SMS news alerts.
As a News Reporter/ Presenter, you must have an excellent command of the English language, be tech savvy, and driven to learn and adapt. Excellent coordination and PR skills are required. A grasp of the Sinhala language is definitely an advantage and needless to say, long hours are on the cards.
