To steer our expanding operation, we seek a qualified, self-motivated and career-oriented person for the following position:
Procurement Executive
Role Profile:
• Undertake market research and analysis to source the best value products and services
• Maintain a list of approved suppliers with prevailing pricing details of routinely purchased items as per ISO procedure
• Negotiate with the relevant suppliers and service providers to procure quality products and services at the best price
• Ensure that the service providers/contractors comply with the applicable rules and regulations
• Coordinate the meetings of the technical evaluation committees to evaluate quotations and tenders
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and services conforming to the required specifications
• Coordinate with end users to ensure that the products and services received conform to required specifications/ standards
• Plan and develop an appropriate storage and inventory management system for consumables/stationery materials with an effective retrieval and distribution methodology
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures
Person Profile:
• A relevant degree from a reputable university
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills; ability to work independently
• Experience using computer applications
• Below 35 years of age
