Norbert Dentressangle Overseas – The Freight Forwarding Division of Norbert Dentressangle have now commenced Operations in Sri Lanka, in partnership with the John Keells Group. We seek to recruit high performing individuals for the position of Network and Systems Administrator
Job Purpose:
Co-ordinate the deployment and maintenance of IT Systems , Processes and Applications at Country level in accordance with the NDO’s Global IT Roadmap. Carries the overall responsibility to provide the required IT support to ensure the continuity of business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and administer Communication Platforms , Transport Management System (TMS) and Accounting Systems in order to facilitate the day to day operations of the business.
– Oversee the required training of individual users in respect of new application deployment which are governed by the NDO’s Global IT Systems.
– Design and develop business intelligence solutions to help business to forecast, realize and identify performance trends as well as monitor business KPl’s/dashboards
– Manage projects related to new application / systems deployment.
– Vendor management and procurement of IT Hardware and systems
Experience and Qualities Required
– Windows and SQL Server management experience
– Experience in project management
– Knowledge of SAP – Not Mandatory
– Sound knowledge in database management and development
– Business Intelligence (BI) platform development
– Exposure to a Transport Management System (TMS) will be an added advantage.
