Academic Qualifications Required:
• Bachelors Undergraduate Degree in Marine Or Mechanical Engineering from Sri Lankan University or International University
• Advance Level Qualification
• Ordinary Level Qualification.
Other Qualifications Required:
• Diploma in English Language
• Good Spoken & Written English Diploma or Qualification.
Industrial Experience or Training in Below Fields (If Any):
• Heavy Machinery
• Marine / Ship Engines
• Electrical bases experience such as Motor rewinding, Repairs of A/C Generators, Panel boards, Lighting systems on board vessels, Insulation testing & meter calibration.
• Steel Fabrication Introduction level, welding (TIG, MIG, Plasma & Arc) & other fabrication processes.
• Introduction level, working with Lathe, Milling, Shaping, Boring, Drilling and Thread cutting operations.
• Repairs and maintenance of Diesel engines such as Transfer crane, Prime mover & Automobile.
Other Conditions of Vacancy that should be understood before applying:
• Candidate will be based in Colombo Operation Office. Designation requirement would be to travel to Galle, Hambantota & Trincomalee Ports when required. This as a criteria candidate has to understand before applying for vacancy.
• Job entails spending a lot of time off shore in mid sea, ships and floating crafts.
