Manager – Strategy Development and Operations
Wisewel is an investment company based in USA that provides an opportunity for investors to achieve their goals. Its objective is to create long-term value for the partners by producing regular, positive, total returns while shielding investor capital through effective risk management, calculated acquisitions, and vested interest in the industry.
Wisewel Sri Lanka has been formed to support the parent company in coping with its challenging expansion plans; and is now looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and capable individual to lead a team of Analysts and achieve target results through training, development and motivation of team members.
Selected candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced international environment; interacting with people in different time zones and meeting tight deadlines. Creative thinking, leadership skills, flexibility, accountability, good interpersonal skills and passion for self and career development are other requirements of this job.
Educational Qualifications:
• Either a Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Finance with a minimum of 2 years exposure to financial modelling
Or
Other Requirements:
• Excellent skills in reading and understanding of finance and economic concepts
• Ability to understand theory and application of probability theory
• Ability to develop models in Excel
(In addition, exposure to basic programing languages in Statistics is a distinct advantage).
