Immediate Vacancy Agronomist / Assistant Farm Manager (Kurunegala)

CoCo Green Group is a renowned manufacturer & exporter of coir based products & food products for 23 years and located in Kurunegala. We export our coir based products to all over the world and our food products to the leading super markets in the country. We are looking for dynamic & self-motivated person with following requirements for the post of Agronomist / Assistant Farm Manager
Job Profile:
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the farm operations and maintaining farm infrastructures in accordance with the company guidelines.
Main accountabilities would include:
• Monitoring & executing daily operations of the farm
• Developing the short term & long term business plans & strategies
• Accountable for growth of the farm
• Monitoring daily lab testings & records
• Responsible for implementing the ISO 22000 standards and continuing the process
• Coordinating with all other departments of the company
• Maintaining a favourable environment for workers and motivate them
Profile of the candidate:
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry from a recognized university / institute.
• A minimum of 5 years experience & exposure in a food based company and a minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial position.
• Good experience on lab testing, R & D, Quality Assurance and Analytical Techniques
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to guide, monitor & motivate the subordinates
• Written & verbal communication skills in English & Sinhala and computer literacy
• Candidates who are residing within 50 Km from the Farm in Kurunegala are given priority
This position is reporting to the General Manager and a competitive remuneration package is on offer based on the qualifications & experience.
