Head Chef (Sri Lanka)

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic head chef to work at a small pizzeria in the Maldives for at least two years. This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for a new and delightful experience.
Requirements:
• Work experience as an assistant chef or head chef at a pizzeria or equivalent
• Demonstrate ability to prepare good pizzas
• At least a diploma in related field would be an added advantage
• Ready to work for at least two years’ contract
Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for managing, training and inspiring your small team to deliver pizzas and side orders.
• Ensure pizza making system is in good operation
• Inform the manager on a daily basis on all operational matters
• Ensure that all food items are prepared on time and meet quality and quantity standards
• Make time schedules of food preparation
• Ensure proper inventory count of food items through assigned staff
• Instruct kitchen assist.. on use and cleaning of all machinery, equipment and utensils
• Keep wastage to a minimum
