Falck Group is a Danish corporation with more than USD 2 billion yearly revenue, activities in 46 countries and more than 36.000 employees. In 2013 they started up DESCRIBE SITUATION IN SRI LANKA WITH CURRENT SMALL SIZE BUT WITH GROWTH POTENTIAL
Leading the Finance Department of xx employees and reporting to the country CEO, you are managing all aspects of finance in the country, including:
• Commercial finance support for the CEO to ensure that costs are minimized and financial targets are met or exceeded
• Being the technical expert “in country” for finance, treasury, tax, legal and HR matters
• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors, creditors and inter-company balances
• Management of monthly closing process – ensuring timely, complete and accurate reporting
• Prepare monthly statements of income, balance sheet and cash flows
• Prepare monthly reporting to Group in Hyperion
• Preparing the material for auditors for the annual audit
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Independant and proactive
• Concern for quality. Delivers quality service at all times, using a structured and logical approach
• Achievement orientation. Has the drive to succeed, not just for self, but for team and company. Gets things done proactively
• Open and honest. Acts in accordance with values and beliefs; truthful, relaxed and easy to work with, whilst able keep confidences
• Degree in accounting/finance, CPA desired
• 3-7 years experience as an Auditor and/or in a finance department as a finance manager or Senior Financial Controller
• Strong accounting and financial skills
