Factory Engineer (Sri Lanka)

Rainwear (Pvt) Ltd. part of the Ardmel Group UK. manufactures high end technical outwear for the European market utilizing advance construction techniques such as hot air & ultrasonic welding and bonding.
Successful candidate would be responsibility for managing all engineering and technical requirements of the organization. They will implement and improve the company’s procedures for preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring the company adheres to industry best practices as well as statutory requirements.
They will work closely with production and design departments on developing or improving production techniques and garment designs. On occasions they may work directly with customer to help meet their needs.
They will be responsible for leading a team of mechanics and technicians to help implement the above.
Successful candidate should be multi-disciplinary with a good basic understanding of mechanical. electrical civil & ICT disciplines. Such that they can converse with internal and 3`a party experts and understand. evaluate and implement proposals.
NDT /HNDE Qualifications and prior experience in a similar capacity are preferred.
