Associate Software Engineer // Software Engineer
As an associate / software engineer you will be working closely with the project and support services team in an agile environment to develop and deliver projects to client expectations while ensuring quality of the solutions are met.
Responsibility:
– Ability to create quality code and software solutions based on client requirements using .net specifically within Sitecore CMS technologies.
– Ability to analyse and fix issues and defects when raised in quick resolution time.
– Ensure following of trending best practises of software development strategies in an Agile/SCRUM oriented culture by the team. – — Support your leads in planning, development, implementing best practices and schedules for development release.
Skills and Experience:
– A degree in Software Engineering/IT/Computer science or equivalent
– 1-3 years of experience for Associate Software Engineers and 3+ years’ of experience for Software Engineers in .Net software development.
– Previous experience in working on .NET CMS — Sitecore CMS projects is highly desirable.
– Sound knowledge of Software development best practices and tools.
– Hands on experience with MVC, Web API, Web Services, SQL Server and IIS.
– Experience in Agile environments and understanding of SCRUM best practices will be an added advantage.
– Should be fluent in English to be able to effectively communicate with teams in UK, Australia and Sri Lanka.
