Crystal Martin Group is a leading Garment Manufacturer having factories in Katunayake, Malwaththa and Wathupitiwala zones, Kandy (Galagedara), Dambulla and Kantale seeks dynamic, energetic and self motivated individuals with following qualifications for the position of Industrial Engineering Manager
Tob Description The IE manager is committed to driving the company wide improvement through the use of IE functions. This individual acts as a leader within the company to promote IE functions to carry out smooth process throughout the manufacturing process. This individual will work as a member of the IE team to drive, facilitate, and promote innovations & savings. This is intended to be a rotational position to build leadership and technical skills while meeting the business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare line layouts & operation breakdowns on time.
• Prepare plant machine requirements.
• Prepare operation breakdowns for costing purpose.
• Prepare & issue IE monthly and daily reports on time for management.
• Meet monthly savings targets.
• Do Innovations as per the plant KPI.
• Meet plant plan efficiency & standards hours.
• Provide thread consumptions.
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree/Diploma in engineering, textile, business administration or any management related field; or a combination of education and experience; Associate plus 5 years relevant work experience.
• Fluent Knowledge in IE function in an apparel manufacturing
• Fluent Knowledge in GSD.
• Should be an Innovative thinker
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing.
• Fluent Knowledge in English and computer literacy (MS office) are must.
• Good Leadership skills and Negotiation skills.
• Ability to work as a team.
