Executive Director
We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to lead, design a research and policy programme, manage research, and work with a range of professionals from diplomats and political leaders to academics. He or she should possess an excellent understanding of international relations and strategic studies. Requirements include a post-graduate degree or equivalent research and publications in international relations, strategic studies or related social sciences. Ability to fundraise and build partnerships with other institutions, national and international is required. Five to ten years of relevant experience would be required. Experience in working in the Foreign Service, the United Nations or a leading inter-governmental or non-governmental organization would be preferred. The candidate will report to the Board chaired by the Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka.
Deputy Director
We are looking for a candidate who can work closely with the Executive Director on research and represent the organization, alongside, or, in the absence, of the Executive Director. Experience at senior levels in the foreign ministry is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to lead, design a policy and research programme, coordinate events, and work with a range of professionals from diplomats and political leaders to academics is required. He or she should possess a post-graduate degree or equivalent experience.
