Job Description:
Aptabas is seeking a Web Developer to design, develop, and implement technical solutions for overseas customers. You will work with other software developers and hardware engineers on the team to build solutions. Most projects will have multiple solutions – you will be responsible for helping decide on the best and making it happen. Your work will go into real products in the hands of real customers, so testing, documentation, and quality assurance all really matter. You can also expect to help train and support staff and customers regarding software solutions.
You’re a good fit if you:
• Have built applications using an object oriented scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or PHP
• Have experience working with a web application framework like Django. Rails, or CakePHP
• Have experience with front-end development, particularly JavaScript
• Have built features integrating with external services over an API
• Can work independently, as well as within a team, with equal success and effectiveness
• Are passionate about building exceptional code and learning new things

• Have experience building software for precision agriculture
• Have built and launched mobile applications on either iOS or Android platforms
• Contribute regularly to open-source projects
