Tech Writers
We are looking for a Technical Writer who can write for business users – if you can translate tech-speak into friendly Help & on-line Manuals, if you take pride in authoring high quality documentation, join our product team now..
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain the product information architecture for on-line Help, manuals.
• Create tutorials to help end-users start using our applications.
• Create promotional material (flyers, emails etc.)
• Create and manage the FAQ library, sourcing information from technical teams and formulating answers
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the target audience
• Align the authoring process with product development to ensure the documentation is updated for changes and enhancements and supports multiple versions as well as customization
Requirements:
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Experience building context sensitive Help using authoring tools
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Experience in use of multimedia tools will be an added advantage
