Senior Linux/Windows System Administrators Support

Job Description:

■ Managing Windows Server 2008/2012.
■ Managing Ubuntu Linux Servers.
■ Managing HS, Microsoft SQL Server.
■ Managing Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.I /IO Client Operating System.
■ Planning, Installing and configuring cloud Servers, MS Azure is desirable.
■ Setting up and managing IT infrastructure (Servers, Firewalls, Routers, Proxy Workstations and Applications)
■ Performing backup and restore processes.
■ Implement new releases, service packs, updates to the infrastructure.
■ Establish and maintain up-to-date manuals, system procedures and work instructions.
■ The ideal candidate should be willing to work on roster in a 24’7 operation environment monitoring a large internal and customer IT infrastructure base spread the globe.
■ Local and overseas training opportunities.
■ Administrative scripting and automation.
■ Office 365/SCCM/SCOM administration.
■ Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
■ Guide and supervise team members in areas of strong expertise

Basic Requirements:

■ B.Sc in computer science or other similar kind of discipline
■ More than five years relevant work experience in a similar role.
■ Good knowledge of both Windows and Linux.
■ Experience in the area of system management – Exchange, Active Directory & File Server etc.
■ Experience in the area of application management- HS, SQL. Server, FTP, end-user applications (Office 365, Lync, Sharepoint, One Drive etc.).
■ Good Knowledge in virtualization technologies and products such as VMWare Sc Hyper-V.
■ Solid knowledge of network applications such as TCP/IP, DHCP, GPO, DNS etc.
■ Solid knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu.
■ Strong customer service orientation.
■ Knowledge of managing hosting web applications.
■ Experience on monitoring platforms such as Nagios.
■ Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, is a must.
■ Willing and able to work on a 24×7 roster.
■ Willing and able to Travel overseas at short notice.

Preferred Requirements:

■ Passion for e-commerce and new technologies
■ Proactive, organized and a team player
■ Excellent documentation skills
■ Experience in software development environment would be an added advantage
■ Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CCNA Certifications, RED HAT Certifications will be advantages
