We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual to head our quality management team
Job Role and Responsibilities:-
■ Ensure that site quality standards are continuously improved to develop a zero defect culture
■ Introduce procedures, training and routines to guarantee that manufactured products & services are compliant with customer requirements
■ Lead & deliver the De La Rue BIQ corporate quality roadmap, In doing so, integrate best practice tools such as APQP, SPC and Poke Yoke methodologies into -business as usual” routines to reduce the cost of quality
■ Be a forward thinking integrated member of the site leadership team, Challenge the status quo, contribute to strategic thinking and be tactical in the execution of improvement plans Create a world-class quality function by involving, developing and empowering our employees
Person Specification – Qualifications, Training & Experience:-
■ Degree or equivalent qualification
■ Significant and extensive experience in manufacturing
■ Specialist in quality management
■ Must have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Advanced Production Quality Planning (APQP). Statistical Process Control (SPC) and have experience of Product Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to generate Control and Inspection Plans
■ Experience of IS09001, IS014001 and IS018001 quality standards
Required Skills and Competencies:-
■ Ability to drive results against internal or external standards of excellence
■ Demonstrate ability to lead people through engagement and strong direction to a future vision. Engage employees
■ Make systematic and data-driven decisions
