Our client is a well reputed apparel conglomerate, located in Colombo looking for suitable candidates for following positions
Merchandiser – Product Development
Skills Required:
• Effective communication skills to work with team members and clients
• Very good organizational skills
• Excellent PR skills to handle customers under various circumstances
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate qualification or Preferably a Marketing or Clothing & Technology qualification
• Most be able to source raw material, work on costing and have basic technical knowledge.
Experience:
• 3 years of product development experience in front end merchandising
• Experience in handling below activities
• Undertaking all costing submissions to the customer in agreed timelines, in order to obtain the best margins whilst optimizing capacity fulfillment
• Liaise with internal/ external customers to finalize Design intent, to ensure that the Design samples development timelines are met
• To maintain effective customer internal & external supplier relationships by communication with customer and internal & external suppliers in order to inform of any deviations.
Production Executive
Skills Required:
• Effective communication skills to work with team members and clients
• Very good organizational skills
• Excellent PR skills to handle customers under various circumstances
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in production engineering or related field Experience
• 1-2 years of experience in handling below activities;
* Ensure allocated modules run smoothly by coordinating the production process
* Oversee the new styles fed into the modules
* Facilitating the delivery of end product to customers as per specifications and in a timely manner
* Guide and advise team leaders regarding target/ requirements for the day/shift such as delivery schedule to be met and communicate shortfalls if any, pertaining to previous days production
* Verify output on an hourly basis by perusing the documents maintained by the Team Leader and follow up with corrective action in order to ensure smooth production flow
