Senior System Administrator
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Infrastructure design for solution: hardware, networking, software, licensing, third-party Equipment (HSM, Embosser, pin-printer)
• Infrastructure sizing for new projects basing on customer growth expectations.
• Solution installation – remotely or on-site with the customers.
• Customer support(troubleshooting: Oracle DB, JAS, HW, B&R, clusters)
• Participate in Pre-Sale activities
• Hardware & software migration activities.
Requirements:
• Over 4 years experience in Unix System Administration
• Oracle Database administration(installation, maintenance, performance tuning, B&R, TDE, Partitioning, DataGuard, Oracle RAC, GoldenGate)
• Oracle DBA – experience on real projects with ETL and data replication solutions (GoldenGate, Streams, etc.) – is a plus.
• Unix-systems administration: AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux (RHEL\OEL) – B&R, tunning for Oracle. Certificates of exams is a plus.
• Networking experience – good understanding of OSI model. Experience with Cisco equipment (ASA, Routers, Switches).
• Experience in network design, understanding of LAN and WAN protocols. (TCP1IP; OSPF; eBGP EIGRP, BGP; HSRP; VRRP, etc.) is a plus.
• Hardware support experience – IBM, HP, Oracle, Stratus, Hitachi
• Hardware architecture design experience for some projects is a plus.
• Storage systems configuration and maintenance: EMC, IBM, HP, Hitachi, Oracle
• Storage systems and SAN design experience.(equipment from Brocade, IBM, HP, EMC, Hitachi)
• Understanding of licensing policies of products made by such vendors as IBM, HP, Oracle, Symantec, Cisco, Thales.
• Experience with configuration of clustering solutions like: HP Service Guard, IBM Power HA, Symantec VCS, RHEL\OEL HA-Addon
• Java Application servers administration: Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere
• Experience with Java App. server clusters configuration on real projects and JVM tunning is a plus.
