Job Description:
– Look after the best interest of the Group and its members in relation to Litigation matters and coordinate with external counsels.
– Ensure that the Group and its members are complied with all applicable rules and regulation and ensure regulatory compliance.
– Assist the Company Secretary with the Company Secretarial and the Intellectual property functions.
– Provide general legal advice as and when required.
– Maintain and monitor internal legal processes.
– Assist to maintain a secure and confidential database of all relevant documentation.
– Perusing /drafting Corporate Agreements
The Requirements
– Minimum 03-years’ hands on experience in the legal profession with exposure in Court work such as appearing in court, -filing cases, carrying out instructing work, attending to court Registry work.
– Should be an Attorney — At — Law, registered Company Secretary and a Notary Public.
– Should have strong negotiation skills and sound legal judgment to support the business needs.
– Should have strong leadership capabilities and should demonstrate high standers of integrity and ethics expected from a legal professional.
– Should have good computer literacy.
– Should be dynamic and have the right corporate mentality
– Should possess excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala languages.
– Age under 35 years is preferred.
