Job Description:
Assistant QC Manager – Civil
Department: Construction Management
Project & Location: 5* Hotel project in Colombo
Reports to: Construction Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare Inspection & Testing Plan for all civil trades in accordance with ARCHETYPE s standards and project specifications
• Review contractors work methodologies
• Check tools and instruments used by contractors
• Manage Material Inspections and Work Inspections as per work schedule in coordination with construction managers • Conduct QC inspections of materials and workmanship
• Issue and manage rectification of Non Conformance’s
• Maintain all QC records and documentation
• Coordinate with QS team for bill certification
Experience: 7-10 years, including similar experience on hotel or high-end residential civil works, preferably as Owner Representative or Project Manager
Education & Skills required:
• BE/BTech or Diploma (Civil)
• Very good technical knowledge of civil works: materials, workmanship
• Ability to review drawings and use AutoCad
• Good organization skills
• Proficient in MS Word
• Good interpersonal and English communication skills (written & spoken)
• Ability to prepare Minutes of Meeting
Quality Control Engineer – Civil
