Software Engineer PHP
XGEN Group (XGEN) is a System Development and a Management Consulting firm based in Melbourne, Australia. XGEN is a young dynamic company and has managed to secure many prestigious clients in Australia and has grand plans for Sri Lanka.
XGEN specializes in developing debt management software for the financial services, insurance and the retail sector. XGEN is currently expanding our core strength and looking for an exceptional individual who take pride in their work and capable of delivering high quality solutions that exceed our client’s expectations. To support its existing team of individuals we are seeking an Energetic Software Engineer for its Sri Lanka Operation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Proactive involvement in design and development of Connect121 collection workflow software.
– Specification and planning of new product modules and features.
– Translate client’s complex business requirement into innovative yet simple solutions.
– Coding and performance of developer module testing and performance of integrated bundle testing.
Experience and Qualifications:
– B.Sc Computer Science or related discipline.
– One or more years of soiled experience with PHP/Ajax/jQuery.
– Good working knowledge on PHP and JavaScripts.
– Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle data bses.
– Experience in Windows, Linux/Unix environments.
– High problem analysis and problem solving skills.
– Good communication skills.
Personal Characteristics and Skills:
– We expect you to have strong communication skills, be creative and innovative, and must be a team player with keen interest on mentoring juniors.
– Travelled overseas on work is a plus.
– Excellent problem solving skills.
