Qualified Accountant – UK Accountancy Firm
A UK based accountancy firm are recruiting in their Colombo 03 Outsourced Operations office for Newly Qualified ACCA / Chartered Accountants.
Candidates need to be highly organised, and efficient in the following:
• Excellent spoken and written English
• At least 3 -4 years’ experience in a Practice is very essential
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• At least 1 A grade at A’ Level
• A Distinction in English and Maths at 0′ Level
• Preferably a degree from a good university but not essential
• Knowledge of Case ware is preferable
Successful candidates will be servicing clients in the UK and will be trained to service clients in one or more of the following departments:
• Book keeping
• VAT Return
• Financial statements & Corporation Tax;
• Management Accounts
The majority of your work will be on dual-screen PCs using UK office servers, UK software and under UK supervision via Skype.
– Key Qualities Required: Speed, accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve team goals and deadlines.
– Qualified Accountant salary: Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualification and experience.
– Progression and Opportunities: Candidates will have career prospects within the practice depending on skills and performance.
– Working hours: Mon – Fri 9:30am to 6:30pm or may be later to coordinate with UK supervision, Sat 9:00am- 1:00pm.
