Data Base Administrator / Systems Engineers

Job:

As a Data Base Administrator you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and administering matters related Data Base management which includes base Definition, Structures, Documentation, upgrades, long range requirements and operations Guide Lines while ensuring the following.

– Good understanding of the Oracle Database, related utilities and tools is required
– Understanding of the underlying operating system (Linux, Unix, Microsoft)
– Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
– Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
– A good knowledge of Oracle Security management, how Oracle acquires and manages resources and Oracle data integrity

Qualifications and Eligibility:

To qualify for this challenging role you will need to possess a proven track record of career success in Database Management which includes base definition, structures, documentation, upgrades, long range requirements and operations Guide Lines while ensuring the following:

– Good Understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools is required
– Understanding of the underlying operating system (Linux, Unix, Microsoft)
– Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
– Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
– A good knowledge of oracle security management, how Oracle acquires and Manages resources and Oracle data integrity

Qualifications and Eligibility:

To qualify for this challenging role you will need to possess a proven track record of career success in Database Management experience including following competencies and skills

– Diploma/Degree from a recognized university or equivalent Qualifications.
– Excellent analytical skills, with great attention to detail
– Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in administering Oracle Database.
– Having additional knowledge and experience of other database such as Db2, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server will be a distinct advantage.
