As Vice President Services – Asia & Pacific, you will drive the successful implementation of FreeBalance solutions in support of government modernization, fiscal decentralization and public finance reform. You must be able to draw from your experience with Public Financial Management (PFM) to maximize the efficient use of FreeBalance resources and methodologies to ensure customer satisfaction. You must also be able to clearly articulate customer needs and requirements needs internally and externally. In this role you must represent FreeBalance by upholding good practices and company governance standards. This includes supporting project execution, sales initiatives, and project resource management.

Main Responsibilities:

– Work with Project Managers to optimize utilization of project resources and coordinate activities
– Liaise with the product development team to ensure that appropriate information about the delivery, implementation and support of new products and updates is given to customers
– Promote, maintain, and strengthen contacts and relationships with regional partners and alliances to support project activities and advisory services
– Provide support to the Vice President Sales, Asia & Pacific in the delivery of sales presentations and proposals and other related activities in the region
– Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of government customers
– Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain alignment with customers and partners
– Assess and mitigate company exposure and project risk, including financial controls
– Effectively apply international project management good practices and techniques
– Manage program execution to include internal/external process improvement
– Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

– MUST have previous experience in government working with Public Financial Management (PFM)
– The ideal candidate will be a graduate from university specializing in Finance and/or Business Administration or equivalent discipline, with experience in IT
– 8-10 years of experience in Project Management and Product Development (enterprise software preferable)
– Strong project management skills and methodology (PMP Certification would be an asset
– Previous experience working with large scale sales processes and execution of implementation programs
– Knowledge of enterprise applications and software industry, including portals, DBs, ERPs, CRMs, SCS, DWs, SOA, BPM, IM, etc.
– Demonstrated experience working with an implementation team in deploying software applications, gathering and documenting client requirements, particularly for the implementation of software applications
– Ability to deliver large scale projects, meet deadlines and effectively interact with other areas and partners when needed
– Strong business acumen
– Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems demonstrating strong analytical skills
– Ability to work with and influence peers, corporate and partners that are not under direct control
– The successful candidate MUST be willing to travel and MUST read, write and speak English fluently
